Homemade Cider Press
Here are some links to homemade cider presses. As you can see, construction is very simple. All these cider presses are nothing more than an enclosed wood or metal frame that will hold your container of fruit and have room at the top for a bottle or scissor jack to fit into. Here in Texas, we don't have the good fortune of having bumper crops of apples, but these cider presses can also be used to turn prickly pear fruit into juice.
